Easy Baked Wrap Chips

Easy Baked Wrap Chips

Sometimes I am overcome with the need for a snack. I usually want something salty and crunchy. This usually happens when I don't have any snacks in my house. Something that I always seem to have in my house is wraps or tortillas. We are always making wraps or having tacos or taquitos, so they are a staple in my house, they are also pretty inexpensive. So why not give them another use and make some wrap chips with them? These chips are easy to make and will probably use things you already have and are a great way to use up any leftover wraps or tortillas you might have. You will just need to cut your wraps into triangles, give them a light coat of oil and season them before putting them into the oven to bake until golden. Very easy.

I usually use extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil, but vegetable or canola oil will also work. My usual seasoning garlic powder, onion powder and salt. This flavour combination will go with any dip I may choose to use if I choose to dip them. But I have also added smoked paprika and chipotle powder to the seasoning mix as well. So you can try different seasonings to find one you like.

For these wrap chips I have used wholegrain wraps, but you can use whatever wraps or tortillas you have on hand. The baking time may differ depending on what type you use. If you keep an eye on them and take them out when you notice they are starting to get golden they should be fine.

If you try these and like them let me know by commenting in the comments box below.
